Context

The Cali Chamber of Commerce (Cámara de Comercio de Cali) is a strategic institution driving business development in the Valle del Cauca region, leading digital transformation and fostering innovation within the local ecosystem. Through initiatives such as NIDO, Retos Corporativos Cali, the Zasca Technology Center, and the REDDI Center, it connects institutions, startups, SMEs, and universities to promote tech entrepreneurship, industrial modernization, and science-based solutions. However, this ambitious agenda brings significant challenges: coordinating multiple public and private stakeholders, managing advanced technology, ensuring innovation adoption among SMEs, and maintaining the financial and operational sustainability of its programs.

Challenge

The client sought to facilitate virtual transactions for the businesses and entrepreneurs registered with the chamber. They required OL Software to take over all development projects so their internal team could focus on inter-chamber relationships.

Solution

We assigned a project manager, a software architect, and three developers to manage and execute multiple software development projects. · Technology Stack: The core technologies utilized were Java and Angular. · Database Integration: The team executed product and system integrations with Oracle databases.
