OL Software provides development services to automate the processes of an energy company. Using Oracle, the team built a dashboard and advanced commercial systems.
Context
Celsia Colombia, a Grupo Argos company, is a key player in the distribution of electric power in the country, with a prominent presence in regions such as Valle del Cauca and Tolima. It is characterized by its strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and clean technologies, leading non-conventional renewable energy projects such as solar. This visionary approach involves major operational and technological challenges, as the company constantly seeks to optimize its processes, modernize its infrastructure, and offer efficient and sustainable energy solutions to more than one million users.
Challenge
The employees who worked on manual processes retired. They wanted to capture all of their experience and create technology for many of the manual processes.
Solution
At OL Software, we collaborated on process automation. The project consisted of two phases: automating employee knowledge through questionnaires and creating an application. Our team used agile methodology and we executed this project in three phases. During the first phase, we developed a dashboard using Oracle. We also included the modernization of commercial systems and helped develop an application. The platform tracks the detection and correction of energy losses.
