Project summary

OL Software provides custom software development services for an energy company. Its tasks involve data engineering, UI/UX design, API creation, and dashboard development, among others.

Context

Celsia Colombia, a Grupo Argos company, is a key player in the distribution of electric power in the country, with a prominent presence in regions such as Valle del Cauca and Tolima. It is characterized by its strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and clean technologies, leading non-conventional renewable energy projects such as solar. This visionary approach involves major operational and technological challenges, as the company constantly seeks to optimize its processes, modernize its infrastructure, and offer efficient and sustainable energy solutions to more than one million users.

Challenge

Celsia had specific needs for the following services: custom software development, data engineering, and UI/UX design.

Solution

We assembled a team of 6-7 people from our side: a technical lead, a couple of developers, a data engineer, a UI/UX designer, a commercial director, and an operations director. We created a software designed to be used by external clients, and all of them have very positive feedback about its new design. The project management style is efficient: deadlines are met and tracked. For project management, we used Azure DevOps and Figma. We used Microsoft Teams to communicate.
