Context
Comfandi is a family compensation fund (caja de compensación) dedicated to providing benefits and social services to low-income families. Currently employing approximately 5,800 people, the organization delivers services across leisure, education, housing, healthcare, and social supermarkets. Comfandi has spearheaded an ambitious investment in educational and technological innovation, allocating over 150 billion COP to create “Campus E” and strengthen STEM projects, bilingualism, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, they are integrating artificial intelligence and digital tools across their health, recreation, and well-being programs. This major commitment to digital transformation and productive learning presents significant challenges: coordinating multiple service lines, managing advanced technologies, training personnel, and ensuring operational sustainability in the face of demographic and regulatory changes.
Challenge
The client required a structured project consulting framework. Beyond day-to-day support and maintenance development services, they needed help managing and executing various other IT initiatives demanded by the organization.
Solution
OL Software took charge of information gathering, solution design, and process adjustment and redefinition. This was accomplished through:

· Tailored Technology Implementation: While the core of our engagement was strategic consulting rather than raw coding, we designed and built powerful web solutions utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end experiences, with Java serving as the robust backend programming language.
